This was only my second ever trail race and the longest distance, so I knew the technical terrain and elevation would be a challenge. The feeling of running over the hills overlooking the city skyline was memorable, even though the visibility was pretty bad! All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it and it’s given me the bug to attempt longer trail distances in the future; I hope to do my first 50k this coming August. ![Weixin Image_20260316190126_154_18](https://greenwoodrunning.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Weixin%20Image_20260316190126_154_18.jpg?width=1080&height=1620&name=Weixin%20Image_20260316190126_154_18.jpg "Weixin Image_20260316190126_154_18") [Back to athletes](https://greenwoodrunning.com/athletes?hsLang=en) [![big res run](https://greenwoodrunning.com/hs-fs/hubfs/big%20res%20run.png?width=895&height=592&name=big%20res%20run.png "big res run")](https://greenwoodrunning.com/?hsLang=en) - [Services](https://greenwoodrunning.com?hsLang=en#services) - [Pricing](https://greenwoodrunning.com?hsLang=en#pricing) - [Contact](https://greenwoodrunning.com?hsLang=en#contact) - [Athlete Stories](https://greenwoodrunning.com/athletes?hsLang=en) - [Running Routes](https://greenwoodrunning.com/running-routes-shanghai?hsLang=en) --- Privacy Policy · Legal · © 2026 Greenwood Running.
