- I started running the spring 2025. I started to improve my overall health, loose weight, and get back into shape. I’ve really enjoyed the mental headspace, confidence, and increased energy that’s come along with running. It’s been a great hobby and an easy way to stay motivated to remain fitter and have fun being outdoors. In October 2025 I completed my first half marathon in Chengdu, which was a huge achievement for me that I couldn’t have imagined doing less than a year ago.
- Chengdu was a great experience and was a pivotal moment to realize the training was working, and that I was capable of doing more than I imagined. The cheering crowds, friendly runners I met on the course, and positive energy really motivated me to keep training after the event. I can’t wait to do it again!
